Terms and Conditions Including Privacy Policy

These Terms and Conditions, together with any signed work authorization, quotation, or agreement, form the complete agreement between the Customer ("you") and TryMe Cleaning Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

 

1.0 Definitions
     1.1 We, Us, Our: Refers to TryMe Cleaning Limited.
     1.2 Customer, You: The person or business receiving services.
     1.3 Actual Cost: Any cost incurred that is not covered in a written quotation.
     1.4 Work: Services provided by us, including but not limited to residential,             commercial, and industrial cleaning.
     1.5 Property: The location where the services are performed.
     1.6 Price: The amount specified on any invoice issued.
     1.7 Terms of Trade: The contractual obligations outlined herein.
     1.8 Privacy Policy: Describes how we handle personal information (Section 13).
     1.9 Emergency Call-Out: Urgent cleaning or response services outside standard scheduling.
     1.10 Consumer Act: The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
     1.11 Health and Safety: The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

2.0 Estimates
     2.1 Estimates are indicative only and not legally binding until confirmed in writing.

3.0 Quotations
     3.1 Valid for 7 days from issuance. A 50% deposit may be required for quotes over $3,000 (incl. GST).
     3.2 Payment in advance may be requested for quotes under $3,000.
     3.3 Additional work not included in the original quote requires written approval and will be invoiced based on actual cost.

4.0 Payment Terms
     4.1 Payment may be required upfront or as a deposit.
     4.2 Business customers must pay within 20 working days from the invoice date.
     4.3 Non-business customers must pay by the due date on the invoice.
     4.4 Overdue payments may incur interest and service suspension.

5.0 Cancellation Policy
     5.1 A $100 fee applies for cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled service or if access to the Property is not available.

6.0 Services
     6.1 TryMe Cleaning Limited provides:
          - Residential cleaning
          - Commercial cleaning
          - Industrial cleaning (floors, machinery, etc.)

7.0 Customer Obligations
     7.1 Ensure work areas are clear.
     7.2 Provide access to power, water, and parking.
     7.3 Property should be unoccupied and pet-free during service.

8.0 Limitation of Liability
     8.1 Our liability is limited to $500. We recommend insurance for valuables.
     8.2 We are not liable for indirect or economic losses.

9.0 Dispute Resolution
     9.1 Disputes must be reported in writing before or within one business day of service completion.

10.0 Accidents, Breakages, and Theft
     10.1 Report any issues in writing within one business day. Late reports may void claims.

     11.0 Health and Safety
     11.1 Remove hazards before we begin work.
     11.2 We may cancel service if safety concerns are not addressed.

12.0 Photos and Videos
     12.1 We may take photos or videos for quality control and marketing. You consent by accepting service.

13.0 Privacy Policy
     13.1 We may collect your name, contact, payment, and service details.
     13.2 We use this information for service delivery, payment processing, marketing (with consent), and legal compliance.
     13.3 We may share information with service providers, legal advisors, or regulators, or as required by law.
     13.4 We use security measures to protect your information.
     13.5 You may request to access or correct your information.
     13.6 Our website may use cookies. Disabling cookies may limit functionality.
     13.7 We are not responsible for the privacy practices of linked third-party websites.
     13.8 We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at tryme.co.nz.

14.0 Force Majeure
     14.1 We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control.

15.0 Electronic Communications
     15.1 You agree to receive communications and sign agreements electronically.

16.0 General
     16.1 Governed by New Zealand law. Disputes will be resolved in NZ courts.
     16.2 Amendments must be agreed to in writing.
     16.3 In case of conflict, these terms take precedence.
